Lordsburg Taphouse & Grill is located in historic downtown La Verne, CA. Our namesake dates back to the 1800s, when an entrepreneur named Isaac W. Lord convinced the Santa Fe Railroad company to run it's line through the then vacant land. In 1887 he established the town of "Lordsburg," named after himself. Lordsburg later became known as the "Heart of the Orange Empire" as a citrus industry was born and flourished until after World War II. See wikipedia for more on La Verne's history.
